The Signiel Seoul hotel is a luxury hotel located on the high floors of the Lotte World Tower. When staying in Jamsil you are also close to the ancient burial grounds of the Joseon dynasty and the Olympic Park, a huge park specially created for the 1998 Seoul summer Olympic Games. The hotel is in the nice Cheongdam area with a bunch of good food options and coffee shops. The hotel staff is very attentive as you can expect of a Park Hyatt property. The Park Hyatt Seoul is located across the COEX mall and right next to exit 1 or 2 of Samseong Metro station. Gangnam is, therefore, a great location to stay if you have already seen the most important sights, but in our opinion not a great choice for first-timers.

We are open to either to be close to shops, restaurants and access to places where we will be able to visit cultural and historical places plus scenic spots for photos. This hotel’s pros are location , cleanliness and prompt and friendly service. The cons are a really small room, so-so view, and a bathroom with no shower curtain and not optimally designed to drain water. This is more of a business or couple’s hotel as the room we had was really small.

I recommend going there to take a break, unwind, take a look at all the books (they have tons of foreign books as well!), magazines, and more. I stayed near the stream in the city center and was really impressed and enchanted by the view while walking right next to the stream!
The Conrad Seoul is on the newly built Yeouido Island development and is part of the Yeouido Business District. It’s closer to the airport than hotels in Gangnam, and the riverside location gives the rooms and suites some beautiful views of the city . There’s a good nightlife scene, including the famous Club Octagon and plenty of hotel bars with a great view over the Seoul skyline. Euljiro is the nearest subway station, connecting you to other Seoul neighborhoods via line 2. Myeongdong is very similar to Hongdae, but better, with less nightlife scene and crowds. I enjoyed my shopping there; you can buy very interesting things for less than US$10. The War Memorial of Korea is an interesting stop on your city tour; you will see all the military equipment and the actual war memorial monument that serves as an educational venue. Nice location and very reasonable price for exhibitor at COEX. Not sure but about 20 minutes by walk from Metro station. Unfortunately I had internet trouble and they put a temporary router which made it better but took it out after a day saying they fixed the original one. I was no longer getting disconnected but the speed was 1/3 as fast. I complained to consecutive days that the eggs and potatoes were cold and they just made a face and never fixed it.
